DK-Technologies Shows New PT0760M Waveform Monitor at IBC 2009 |
DK-Technologies will be using the IBC 2009 platform to unveil its new PT0710 M HD/SD waveform monitor to the European broadcast market. |
Developed in response to customer demand, the entry level PT0710M HD/SD waveform monitor is a single channel version of DK-Technologies’ Award-winning four-channel PT0760M waveform monitor.
In keeping with its ‘big brother’, the PT0710M can display R, G, B & luminance and Gamut errors, plus de-embed and display up to 16 audio channels. A complete range of upgrades are available, making it ideal for smaller production studios and Outside Broadcast vehicles that may want to increase functionality at a later stage. These user installed upgrades, which allow the PT0710M to be transformed into a PT0760M in the field, include DolbyE decoding and 5.1 surround sound monitoring (StarFishTM/JellyFishTM/NebulaTM), as well as Cb, Cr and Vectorscope.
DK-Technologies will also be showing a new graphical loudness display that complies with ITU 1770/71 and makes comparisons of previous changes easier to see. In addition, DK-Technologies will premiere its new NebulaTM display for showing effective audio centre. This is designed for use with DK’s well-established StarFishTM/JellyFishTM 5.1 metering system.
The DK-Technologies line-up is completed with the MDS100C loudness meter, the PT5300 Sync Pulse Generator which has GPS timing facility, and the full range of LCD/CRT colour alignment tools that are designed to make monitor alignment easier and more reliable.
